    Canoga Park founded on March 30, 1912, mainly known then as an agricultural community. In the 40’s Los Angeles Pierce College was built and the large aerospace firms (Rocketdyne, Litton Hughes Aircraft) arrive in the 1950s. Paving the way for an incredible mixture of people, places and businesses that we know and love today. Sherman Way is the main thoroughfare that encompasses Historic Old Town Canoga Park where the businesses are lively and diverse.
